Alex DePaz, is a Belizean/American Psychotherapist born in San Ignacio and educated in America. Alex is enrolled at Rockwell Medical school for Holistic Providers. She is currently completing her Doctorate of clinical global herbalism and botanical medicine. She earned her Psychology degree with an emphasis in Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University in Seattle, Washington, and her bachelor's degree in Holistic Health. She also studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and incorporates alternative Medicine in her healing practices. She is a spiritual Healer who comes from ancestral line of healers of both Afro Caribbean and Mayan Traditions. Her expertise is in the areas of ; Forensic Psychology, Trauma, Crisis Intervention, Domestic Violence, Addictions, Mental illnesses such as PTSD, Anxiety and Depression, Sex addiction, Nutrition, Fitness, and more. Alex has worked in both non profit and private practice sectors. Among some places she worked was as a counselor working with Sex offenders and Sexually violent predators from McNeil Island Prison in Washington, State. She has worked as a professional trainer in trauma, and crisis interventions, both Nationally and Internationally. She has trained government agencies as well as large Corporations such as Facebook, where she worked with young content moderators in helping them deal with vicarious trauma from disturbing content viewed on various platforms from which they worked. She currently work as a forensic clinician in Mid City Wilshire in Los Angeles, CA. and runs her agency Globe Calm Holistic Center. She is an expert in leadership. She is also a filmmaker and studied theater as an actor focusing on psychodrama and social justice with (TOO )Theater of the Oppressed. Furthermore, we are adding to our services Quantum Mechanics Healing and Holistic Medicine to provide a systemic person center approach to optimal health.
Rochelle Moore is Former COO of Globe Calm Previously known as Whole Therapy Counseling. She is a License Mental Health Counselor in Washington State and Utah State. Rochelle's clinical work includes focusing on adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. Rochelle is the principal of Moore Consulting. She provides consulting services education, and training. She also consults with agencies who are interested in achieving commission on accreditation of rehabilitation facilities. (CARF) and Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) Accreditation. Rochelle brings over 15 years of experience in the non-profit housing, mental health and healthcare systems. Her experience is based in the homeless housing sector, in the healthcare compliance sector, in program management and directorship and in clinical mental health private practice. Rochelle received her undergraduate degree from the University of Utah, and her Master's degree from Antioch University. She lives in Utah and enjoys climbing and hiking with her dog Chip.
Q'orianka Elena DePaz, Globe Calm Graphic Design She is responsible for Globe Calm logo. She is a talented young student who enjoys Art, Music, Singing and Traveling just to mention a few of her favorite things. She is currently learning French at community college and is in her Junior year of high school. She is an equestrian as well as an archer and runner. She has an adventurous spirit and is courageous and thoughtful in so many ways. She is extremely intelligent, caring, and always thinking of ways to be kind to others. She is very much in tune with her body and eats very healthy understanding how food affects her mind, body and spirit. She is an avid reader, and loves to complete a book always looking forward to starting a new one. She is an advocate for Social Justice, self aware of environmental issues and loves animals. But best of all she is my 16 year old daughter and my personal advisor. My World.
Meet our Globe Calm Retreat foodie expert. This wonderful, amazing mother of three, and grandmother of two, is a beautiful soul who loves deeply even when it hurts. She has a forgiving heart and can be admired for her strong faith and unconditional love for her family. Her career took her to "numbers". accounting, but her passion is in human rights, community work and service in her church. She is an excellent cook and after living in Belize for some time, has had a renewed interest in discovering great food from well-known restaurants in the area. Her love for cooking and trying new foods has led her to exploring her culture through the flavor and spices of her Belizean cuisine, hence created her business Sandra's foodie tour.

Jose Lemus is a wonderful leader in the community who, along with his wife and children are making a huge impact in his neighborhood. He is very active in inspiring and motivating the young children of the Shawville/Kontiki Area of the Cayo District. He has been implementing and coordinating various youth activities. Among some things he has accomplished is cleaning up the community, building a park and recreation area for children to be able to play and interact peacefully with each other. He continues to create a safe space for the community and is closely involved in his church and sports activities for the young people in the community. His newest project is working closely with Globe Calm to build a Library and get over 300 children sponsored to be able to get an education.
We have done National and International trainings in areas such as Motivational Interviewing, Professional ethics, Confidentiality, Crisis intervention and prevention, and Vicarious Trauma.
Our work includes working with chronically mentally ill individuals, Gang preventions and interventions, Drug addictions, and alcohol dependency.
Our work includes working with Sex offenders and sexually violent predators from Mc Niel Island Prison in Washington State, Court appointed clients from Heritage Clinic in Los Angeles, CA, and various programs.
